Associated Press, New York – The highly talked about wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries created bad reputations towards the Kardashian family and the E! entertainment channel. E! now says that they did not orchestrated the wedding. They released a statement saying it’s ‘completely false’.

The ‘lavish fairytale’ wedding was televised on their reality show last month, October 9 and 10. The special was the highest ratings in E! History.

Suzanne Kolb, president of E! entertainment reacted on the rumors saying, “I don’t even know if Kim has had a chance to emotionally process this the way that she needs to.”

She added, “I don’t have any indication that this is going to change her career path.”

Before the divorce announcement, the network planned a rerun of the wedding last Wednesday and Thursday. Due to the divorce, they decided to schedule it this coming Monday and part two will be on Thursday. An onscreen announcement will be aired about the divorce.

When asked for reason why they chose to rerun the wedding from a broken marriage, Kolb said, “We are a topical network and this is the topic of the moment. ”

The title of the show is “Kim’s Fairy Tale Wedding: A Kardashian Event.” It attracted more than 4 million viewers.

In an interview in an Australia TV network, Kim Kardashian said that the reason she filed for divorce was her own intuition.

She said, “I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your own intuition, and follow your heart. There’s no right or wrong thing to do.”

Kolb admitted that they need to address that the marriage legitimacy was being unfairly treated. She said, “At some point, we had to come out and say that was absurd.”

The second season of Kourtney and Kim take New York will air this November 27, and it will showcase the couple’s relationship.

Suzanne said, that the upcoming show will have more drama than we originally expected with a newlywed couple.  The viewers will see how it was difficult it was for the then married couple.
