Thomas Brodnicki, 46-years-old, pleaded not guilty for allegedly stalking Selena Gomez.
The actress said that the stalker followed her from July to October this year.
Although he admitted not guilty, he is facing three years in prison if proven otherwise.
According to TMZ.com, Brodnicki acted crazy in courtroom today.
The singer already had a civil temporary restraining order against Thomas Brodnicki.
The judge Upinder Kalra issued a separate restraining order prohibiting him from going near Selena for the next three years.
The order will be effective immediately. Kalra also set $150,000 for his bail.
According to documents provided by Selena Gomez’s lawyer, Brodnicki talked with a psychiatrist about his thoughts and messages from God that he should kill Selena.
He was also accused on travelling to Los Angeles and Chicago just visit the star and Gomez’s workplace.
Brodnicki also has history of stalking women and was sentenced three years for internet stalking.
A preliminary court hearing this November 16 is set.
