David Beckham is one of the premiere sportsmen in the world.

But it was not that easy. He trained long and hard to achieve what he has now.

The father of four is worried that his children’s privileged upbringings will not help for their hunger for success.

Beckham, who is married to Victoria lives in Los Angeles with their children, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, Cruz, six and their daughter Harper, months.

He had an interview to the Times and said, “They’ve got a great life set up for them. Obviously our boys and little girl are very lucky.”

“But I think as a parent, you always worry. Have they got the hunger that I had as a kid?”

David Beckham, who is now part of the LA Galaxy Star grew up in a working class family in Leytonstone in London’s East end.

His biggest dream was to become a professional footballer, so he trained very hard with his father, Ted.

David also admitted that he is also as strict as his father to his sons.

The football star said, “I’m as hard on my boys as my dad was.” My sons ask, “Did I play well?” and he will answer, “You did alright, could have done better.”

He described his father’s upbringing to him was good. He said, “The way my dad brought me up, he was strict. I’m exactly the same with my boys. They have their feet on the ground.”

David is planning a potential move away in Los Angeles Galaxy Star, and will probably his last season of football.
