Former The Hills star, Lauren Conrad and current Dancing with the Stars dancer, Derek Hough had called it quits.

Last June, Laren broke up with her then boyfriend, Kyle Howard last June. They dated for three years.

Lauren and Derek started casually dating after that but it did not turn serious enough to last.

The reports were announced in Life & Style who talked about the reasons of their break up.

Sources said that it was a rebound hook up. Even if they look cute together, it was still not enough to work.

Lauren was also said to be not serious about the relationship. A source told Life and Style that Lauren always keeps her options open even if she was dating Derek.

It’s either Lauren was dating other men while they are dating or she is on the look out for much more better guys.

A source from Kyle’s camp said, “This was a rebound that was not going to last. Derek never thought it would, either.”
