Frankie Cocozza got axed on the show, X Factor UK.
The reason for this is that he claimed to have cocaine-fueled sex sessions.
He was overheard by the production team that led them to tell the news to their bosses.
In result, he was asked to leave the house.
It was part of their rules that contestants should not get involved on drugs.
Sources claimed that when he performed the Black Eyed Pea’s ‘I had a Feeling,’ he only got 30 minutes of sleep because of hard partying.
But even if the judges did not think it was good enough-performance, the voters seems to like him because he was saved to be part of the competition for next week.
Johnny Robinson and The Risk was eliminated.
Last Tuesday afternoon, Frankie released a statement saying, “I’d like to apologize to Gary, my fellow contestants and everyone who has voted for me, but as of today, I will no longer be in the X Factor.”
“My life during the show has gone out of control and my behavior off stage has over stepped the rules of the competition. I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore, leaving. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.”
X Factor spokesperson confirmed the news last Wednesday, saying, “Frankie is leaving the show today after breaking competition rules. He is going to take some time out after before continuing his career as a singer.”
Frankie’s Mentor Gary Barlow also spoke about Frankie. He said, “Frankie has apologised publicly as well as personally to me and the producers for his actions that lead to him leaving the show.”
“I’m hugely disappointed that he’s thrown away an opportunity like this after working so hard to get there. I’m sorry to see him go as we’ve been through a lot together on such a short time.”
He added, “I hope Frankie continues to look me as a friend and supporter and works it all out , picks himself up and somehow tries to turn it into a positive.”
