Sofia Vergara, famous for her role in the show, Modern Family is now on the latest issue of America’s Health Magazine.

She revealed that she almost thought of having a breast reduction.

“When I moved to America, I was more voluptuous and I felt a little different.”

“And one time years ago, I remember my publicist (at that time) told me ‘I think you should just reduce your boobs because nobody’s going to take you seriously here.”

“My mother almost got a heart attack.”

“She was like, ‘God is going to punish you! You can’t cut your boobs!”

But she is happy now that she chose not to have breast reduction. Sofia loves her curves.

The Columbian actress said, “I don’t regret not doing it, because now it’s a big part of Gloria.”

Vergara also said that her cultural roots made a difference.

“In Latin America, we do learn to be more comfortable in our own bodies. Women are not shy to be in bathing suit, in G-string.”

“But I also did a TV commercial for Pepsi when I was 17 on the beach in a bathing suit.

“And everybody was like: Oh my God, that body”

“And you know you start to feel a little bit more confident if you have people thinking that you are fabulous.”

Sofia also revealed that she is not afraid to be stereotyped as a sexy Latina.

“It is the reality. I am a Latin woman. I’m voluptous, I’m loud, I’m exactly what a Latina woman is.”

When asked on how she maintains her figure, she basically said that she doesn’t diet and hates exercising.

“I don’t smoke, I’ve never done drugs.”

“I think the most unhealthy thing is that I’m obsessed with dessert. And it’s very hard for me not to eat it at least once a day.”

She also revealed that she cries when she works out with her trainer, Gunnar Peterson.

Sofia said, she needs someone to force her to exercise, because if not, she will just do the half of the work out.

On plastic surgery, she said she is not against it at all. But she rather focus on making herself more beautiful rather than trying to look young.

She has her own fashion line available in Kmart.
