The lawyers of Mariah Yeater has withdrawn the lawsuit against Justin Bieber. They are still waiting for Justin to take the paternity test.

Jeffrey Leving, her lawyer said they can refile the lawsuit anytime. “This case was never dismissed. It can be refilled today or tomorrow. We are trying to settle this matter out of court with Bieber’s camp.”

The supposedly scheduled hearing on December 15 is canceled.

Mariah claims Justin is the father. She said that they had a brief sexual encounter last year at Los Angeles Staples Center.

“She believes Justin is the father. Right now, there’s no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I’m not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s counsel and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test with the same safe guards that would exist if there was a court order, but without a court order.”

“The case is completely out of control and I don’t want something terrible to happen to my client or her child.”

“While it’s still unclear whether or not Yeater’s case is still technically active, Leving said he hopes he won’t have to file a new lawsuit.”

Leving added, “My goal is that when the DNA test is completed, which I believe it will be.. my goal is to keep everything confidential so the results will remain confidential.”

Matthew Hiltzik, the spokesman of Justin said, “As we’ve said from the beginning, it’s sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious,  defamatory and demonstrably false claim. We’ll continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin.”

Leving also explained that there will be a confidentiality agreement for both camps. He said, “I will state right now that it’s better that it’s handled out of court which is in the best interests of everybody.”

“Hopefully the case can come to a safe and healthy conclusion.”
