Elizabeth Olsen: "I never wanted anyone to think that I would use my family name to get me anywhere."Elizabeth Olsen, the little sister of famous twins, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, is on the cover of Marie Claire magazine.

She revealed what it’s like to be on the shadow of her famous business mogul and actress twin sisters and that she is treated as the ‘curvy one of the family.’

Elizabeth shared that she really is the younger one in the family.

“It’s very clear that I’m the younger sister.”

“My whole life they have been like women, while I’ve been trying to be a woman but still a kid.”

She went to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and have lived on the dorms there.

Elizabeth said that’s the time when she felt weird about having the Olsen twins as her sisters.

“That’s the only time in my life I ever felt different for having sisters in the public eye.”

“People would knock on my door and be like, ‘I heard there was a party here,’ just because they knew that I lived in that room. It was so weird.”

She also shared that having her sisters makes her want to prove something for herself and to be a better actress.

“I’ve always had a complex about being taken seriously.”

She also shared that she wants to be successful on her own and not because she is an Olsen.

“I never wanted anyone to think that I would use my family name to get me anywhere.”

But, she said that she is close to her siblings. They will celebrate Christmas together in LA.

Elizabeth revealed that they have a special bonding and that’s – cooking together.

“My sister and I do most of the cooking because we love it. We jazz up the holidays with mashed cauliflower.”

She adds, “It’s so delicious; It’s Mary-Kate’s signature.”
