High demand for the Barnes & Noble simple touch Nook over Black Friday

Nook Simple TouchThe famous book store, Barnes & Noble, had released a special Black Friday sale price for their popular e-Reader, the Simple Touch Nook.

The Nook, normally sold for 99$ got a special 20$ discount price for this weekend – selling at only 79$, making it one of the cheapest e-book reader out there.

This price discount actually brought the Nook to match the Amazon’s Kindle price tag, thus taking the eBook reader “wars” to a hole new level.

 

To complement the sale price Barnes&Noble also presented discounts on many of their e-Books and Games which went up to 50%.

The combination of a cheap yet good eBook reader, discounted books and eBooks and the Holidays lead to a high demand for the product in the Barnes&Noble stores.

Long queues were reported in front of the company’s shops and a high level of buyers was registered over the weekend.
