Given that she forgot the lyrics on the Guilty Pleasures round last week singing Hanson’s MMM Bop, Janet Devlin lost her place on X Factor UK.
She was in bottom two with Misha B.
Janet performed Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, which cannot be compared to Misha B who belted out Out Here on My Own by Irene Cara.
Louis Walsh said that the competion has been very hard for him to decide.
“It’s getting tougher and tougher. I’m taking everything into consideration, judging last nights two performances and the sing-off. The act that I’m sending home is Janet.”
Tulisa also shared her opinion and decided that Devlin is the one she’s sending home.
“I’m going to base my decision on the person who has a career after the show, who will sell records and sell out arenas.”
“I’m sorry to say, I’m sending home Janet.”
Kelly Rowland, their mentor, cried while announcing her decision.
“I know how great this two young ladies are. Janey, I admire you as a musician, and you bring something so unique to the music industry, I absolutely love you and adore you.”
“Misha my goodness girl, you just want this so bad, I have to pass it, I’m sorry.”
So the majority verdict was overruled. Misha B was saved. Gary Barlow was not even asked who he wants to send home.
But later on, O’ Leary asked Barlow and said, “I’d have sent Janet home.”
Janet, after she was asked to sent home said, “I’m feeling very confused. I can’t wait to leave the show and get my music out there.”
It was a very interesting show, it was opened by performances of Olly Murs and Jessie J.
The live show finalists also performed together for charity, singing ‘Wishing on a Star’
Johnny Robinson, Craig Colton and Sophia Habibis was there to sing with the other contestants.
Who do you think will be sent home next week?
Will it be Little Mix, Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins, or Misha B?
