Actress Lindsay Lohan at probation hearing in Los Angeles

It seems as though troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is in court every other day, something needs to give. Yet the once A list Hollywood star claims she is to poor to pay for counseling.

Judge Stephanie Saunter demanded to see proof that Lindsay was seeing a much needed psychiatrist – a rule agreed to let her leave jail on probation. However, despite Lindsay being seen partying the night away at glitzy celebrity night clubs in Los Angeles, her lawyer Shaun Champman Holley said that her client was struggling to find the funds.

Her Lawyer said: ‘Ms Lohan cannot be in group therapy because of the publicity it would attract and the paparazzi.

‘She was seeing someone for psychological treatment at UCLA but had to stop for financial reasons.’

The 25-year-old’s past criminal actions have left her career floundering and now the once aspiring actress has a tarnished reputation and near empty bank account.

Ms Hollie revealed that Lindsay’s Screen Actors Guild health insurance has lapsed after the actress flailed to secure herself a role in any upcoming movies.

It looks like Miss Lohan’s luck in court may have run dry after the prosecution said they found it ‘hard to believe’ that the childhood star was low in funds and couldn’t go to counseling.

The discussion of group counseling emerged but was soon shot down when Judge Saunter agreed that that a group environment would not be suitable for someone in the media glare, as it could provoke someone to sell personal information about her. Lindsay has now been given 21 days to find an appropriate and hopefully effective one-on-one therapist.

The judge was so adamant about this rule that she even suggested that the Mean Girl actress get a loan.

‘If she doesn’t have the means then maybe she can find somebody to help her out. But i am not about to hold a whole separate hearing to discuss her financial situation,’ she said.

Despite Linday’s apparent financial difficulties the actress still thought it appropriate to play the ‘poor girl’ whilst wearing incredibly expensive footwear .

Doing little to support her case Lindsay had strolled into court wearing a sort-after pair of Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly booties, which retail at a

whopping $1,195.

The actress has also been slacking on her community service, her main punishment for her drink driving and theft offense.

Lohan has only managed to complete 33 hours out of 480 legally required to take place at the at the Downtown LA’s Women’s Centre and at a morgue.

Judge Saunter was far from impressed, especially as the star is unemployed and struggling to find the funds for counseling, she would at least have the spare time to complete her duty of community service.

‘That is 45 days at the women’s Centre and 15 days at a morgue.
‘You have done four days. While this is not a violation but you must complete it within a year you will not get even five minutes more.

‘I will not take into consideration the excuse you were on a film set working, though I don’t know your circumstances at the moment and if you are working.’
However it may not be long befor the actress pulls herself on the straight and narrow gaining employment and a more that healthy injection of money to her bank account…

The judge let slip: ‘I have read that you are in talks with a movie deal.’

Is Linsays Lohans luck finally in?
