The hefty price tag is another jolt in the ribs for the everyday women as it is far beyond most peoples budget. Victoria’s is keen to to caters for the haute couture market but at the same time she isolates her fan base, the pople that have helped her get where she is today.

The show stopping bag is among the items recently unveiled by the up-market London Selfridges’ store that are predicted to be the hottest sellers for this Christmas.

Despite being known for her clean lines and bold coloured clothing, Mrs Beckham wanted to turn her hand to designing women’s bags, felling she is more than experienced enough to design such a luxury item considering her extensive collection of bags.

Over the recent years Victoria has accumulated over 100 Hermes handbags, a haul that is rumored to be worth over a shocking £1.5 million.

Her footballer husband famously brought her a designer labeled bag worth £30,00 alone. That is a a lot of money to spend on a item to keep your credit cards and make-up.

Mrs Beackham was recently approached by PETA who asked her to reconsider the use of exotic animal materials in her creations.

David W. Perle, a spokesman for the charity said: ‘We appreciate Ms. Beckham’s rejection of fur and have approached her – 100 per cent respectfully – over the suffering of lizards and other reptiles who are often skinned alive for fashion.’

Victoria Beckham has an extensive bag collection, many of which are controversially created from exotic reptile skins

However the debate did not seem to faze famous highstreet store Selfridges, who are still keener than ever to exhibit the items at its Oxford Street store. The array of specially designed items have an white theme to represent Christmas and winter.

The collection includes an expensive pair of white silk knickers  featuring a real diamond by Nichole de Carle priced at £300 and a simplest classic white wedding gown at £620, designed by Brazilian designer Daniella Helayel of Issa fame – the label beloved by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

In addition to the white items Selfidgest have also created the ultimate advent calendar for the supper-rich in the run-up to Christmas that will set the buyer back a monumental £18,000.

As imagined, this calendar is not your typical A4 cardboard frame concealing nativity scenes and chocolates. This one will fill an entire wall of your home. It is a piece of furniture containing a miniature designer accessory for every day of the month, including shoes by Christian Louboutin.

Sounds like the perfect pre-Christmas gift, the only problem is finding a place to store it for the remaining 11 months of the year.
