It is a dream come true for Melanie Amaro as she won the $5 million record deal, Pepsi Ad campaign and the first X Factor title.

The 19-year-old was filled with joy and excitement.

She said, “Oh my God! Oh My God!” and hugged her family.

Simon said, “She’s going to represent our country, she’s a star.”

It was a whirlwind relationship as  a mentor for Simon because he originally eliminated her.

The three singers who competed for the title was Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro and Josh Krajcik.

Simon seems  happy for the decision. He said he feels ‘relieved and genuinely, genuinely thrilled.’

He added, “It could not have been a better ending, the whole story, and the fact that everybody thinks it was something we put together for TV , me bringing her back. It was not. It was a genuine mistake, and the irony she actually won.”

The songs that led Melanie to be the X Factor winner was R. Kelly’s I Believe I Can Fly and Beyonce’s Listen.

The crowd loved it and voted for her.

It was a very huge show for X Factor as X Factor opened the evening with the final 12 acts singing The Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga.

Justin Bieber performed on stage singing The Christmas Song and was joined with famous singer, Stevie Wonder who played the keyboard and harmonica.

Justin also danced heavily after singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

After some Holiday songs, Chris Rene was asked to sent home. He is a sport and said, “I got to touch a lot of people out there. I just gotta say thank you. ”

L.A. Reid who was his mentor said, “I’m still proud of Chris.”

The last two finalists are Melanie and Josh.

Melanie revealed backstage while waiting for the results, “I’m so overwhelmed right now.”

Josh added, “I could not think of a better final two.”

50 Cent, Pitbull and Neyo performed for the crowd.

After that the last two contestants performed a duet singing Heroes by David Bowie.

And then it was announced that Melanie is the winner.

Josh was also happy for Melanie and said, “I feel amazing. Melanie deserves it.”

The sexy singer and Mentor of Josh Nicole said, “I could not be any more proud of him.”

To close the show, Melanie sang Beyonce’s Listen again.

Lastly, she said, “Thank You so Much! God is good! This is something I’ve wanted for all my life!”
