Demi Lovato has recovered from one of her recent battle, an eating disorder, Bulimia.
She left her show from Disney ‘Sonny with a Chance’ to check into rehab for her eating disorder issues.
So when she saw a repeating episode of Shake it Up from Disney channel, she blasted some angry tweets to the company.
Demi tweeted, “I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actresses from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet can still make a joke about that very disease…#nice.”
She added, “What are we promoting here? #notfunnyatALL”
The singer is referring from an offensive remark from the show, Shake it Up, when an actress playing a supermodel told two of the casts Rocky and Cece: “I could just eat you up, well if I ate.”
Bella Thorne and Zendaya Coleman are the stars of Shake it Up.
The official Disney channel twitter quickly responded and said that they will pull out those episodes from the show that involves eating disorders and they did not mean to promote eating disorders.
The official Disney PR tweeted, “@ddlovato we hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & re-evaluating them.”
They added, “It was never our intention to make a light of eating disorders.”

Demi accepted the apology but made another tweet about her observation that the Disney actresses are getting thinner and thinner unlike before.
The Skyscraper singer admitted that she liked the Disney shows before when there are curvy stars like Hilary Duff and Raven-Simone.
She tweeted, “Is it just me or are the actresses getting THINNER and THINNER.. I miss the days of Raven and Lizzie Mcguire.”
Demi quitted acting because she is more comfortable focusing on her music and admitted that it’s hard looking at herself in TV.
In one of her interviews, she said, “It made sense to me to leave the show and focus on my music.”
“In the studio you don’t see my body, and I feel all of my confidence is in my voice.”
Lastly, she added, “I don’t know if I could handle being in front of the camera right now.”
