Matthew McConaughey and his long time lover Camila Alves are engaged!

The couple already has two children together, a son Levi and a daughter named Vida.

The hunky actor proposed to her on Christmas day.

Matthew shared the news all over the world through his twitter account.

He tweeted, “just asked Camila to marry me, merry Christmas”

He also posted a picture of them kissing behind a Christmas tree on his WhoSay account.

Camila and Matthew has been living together in his home in Malibu.

In an interview, Matthew revealed that he loves living a simple life.

Matther and Camile met in 2006 and had their first baby in 2008.

It might be a surprise for Camila as she revealed in an interview with OK magazine that they are good as they are.

The Brazilian model  said, “We have no plans right now.”

“We are good as we are right now. We are happy and good as we are. So far, so good. ”

Matthew’s latest movie was Killer Joe with co-actor  Emile Hirsch.

The story is all about a guy named Chris played by Emile who needs to have six thousand dollars or his dead after his mother stole his stash.

Pretty much scared and confused, he turned to Killer Joe played by Matthew McConaughey.

He later on found out that his mother’s life insurance policy is worth $50,000.
