It is a very happy start for the Sacramento Kings as they beat Los Angeles Lakers in the season opener.
The score is 100-91. It has put the Lakers to zero win and two lose.
The Sacramento fans was so happy cheering for the team and seems to have hope that the glory days from 2003 has come again.
This season is one of the best assembled team for the Sacramento Kings. They were good in making score and was capable of defense.
Marcus Thornton scored 27 points on the game. He made four three pointers, five rebounds and three assists to the game.
Thornton said, “We stayed the course. We did not get riled up. When they were making that run, we shot a couple of quick shots. We got back doing what we do best.”
Strong players like Tyreke Evans and DeMArcus cousins shine on the season opener. Evans scored 20 points but did not much have any luck on his free throws.
DeMarcus scored 12 points and 11 assists despite getting some foul trouble.
All eyes were in Jimmer Frederette because it is his first regular season game.
He only scored six points and three assists which disappointed some of his fans.
Kobe Bryant said after the game, “It’s not a rivalry. We beat them every year. Oh my God. I don’t care if they beat us tonight. I like (King owners Joe and Gavin Maloof). I hope they enjoy this.”
Kobe scored 29 points and Metta World Peace scored 19.
Metta said, “We have a lot of games left, a lot of games left. Everything is going okay. Everything is great.”
