In a very sentimental statement, Russell Brand announced that he will divorce his famous wife, Katy Perry.

He said that he will always adore his wife even if they will go on their separate ways.

It was shown yesterday that Russell did not wear his wedding ring while he was out in London yesterday.

In the statement, he said, “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we will remain friends.”

Russell’s legal team was the one who filed for divorce in Los Angeles yesterday, citing, ‘irreconcilable differences.’

In the legal papers, it shows that there are ‘community property assets, which there might be no pre-nuptial agreement.

Katy Perry still not able to respond by the divorce but friends close to her revealed that Katy was blindsided by his decision.

The two started dating in 2009 and after just four months, Russell proposed to Katy.

They got married in a luxury resort in India last October 2010 making the length of their marriage to only 14 months.

One of the rumored reasons of Russell’s decision that he asked Katy to tone it down.

Katy was always hard on partying and it also added that Russell did not like her friend’s like Rihanna.
