How does Eva Longoria stay in shape?Eva Longoria graced the cover of Health magazine for the January issue.

She talked about her weight loss during her divorce with Tony Parker, her diet and exercise.

Eva said that she lost a lot of weight when she went through the divorce.

But people keeps insisting that she looked really good.

“I remember after my divorce, I was so thin, and everyone kept saying how great I looked and it was probably the most unhealthy place I have ever been.”

“So it was funny what people would say as healthy.”

“In my worst time, people were saying I’ve never looked better.”

“But now, I have a great diet and exercise routine. And I try to have a healthy outlook. I’m your everlasting, hopeless optimist! ”

The Latina star also shared that she’s a very positive person. She did not get majorly depressed on her divorce.

“I was just born with that. It’s so funny because I don’t get depressed.”

“Even after my divorce, everybody was like, ‘Wow, you bounced back so quick, I was like, “I’m not  letting this take over. Something great is around the corner. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen.”

Eva also revealed that she tried being Vegan. She was inspired by motivational guru, Tim Robbins but she stopped because all she ate was salads.

When she  ate salads for a week, she collapsed and realized that she has to stop.

She went back eating chicken and meat.

Eva also shared her conversation with Kim Kardashian because they were both part of Most Beautiful woman lists.

Eva told Kim, “You’re the most beautiful thing in the world.”, and Kim said, “No, you are.”

Eva then said, “No, Honey, I used to be. I’m old news.”

The Desperate Housewives star also revealed her workout routine.

She credits Kinesiology or human movement.

She said, It’s ingrained in me to work out. I was an aerobics instructor, and a personal trainer in college, so I was addicted to exercise.”

“I used to do an hour and a half to two hours a day. I’d teach a class then train clients. And realized that I didn’t need that much.”

“Now I like weight training and abs. I hate the elliptical. I hate jogging. ”

“I despise cardio. I just can’t do it. So I try to do cardio within the workout.”
