New Orleans Saints defeated Detrot Lions, 45-28New Orleans Saints won against Detroit Lions last Saturday night.

The score was 45-28.

Quarterback Drew Bees torched the Lions with 466 yards and three touchdowns.

Because of their win, the Lions will not be part of the play-offs.

Next game of The Saints will be against San Francisco.

As the Lions headed home, their final record was 10-7.

Matthew Stafford said that he really expected to be back to play for the next game.

“We came a long way, we expect to be back. ”

Dominic Raiola also shared that he is not ready that this was the last time they have to play for the season.

“You never like to think what it’s going to be like when it’s over. This is a hard one to swallow. It’s done, One and done.”

Jim Schwartz, the Lions head coach revealed that he is not happy on how his team defended against Lions.

“We missed opportunities to make interceptions. We failed on third and fourth down and we tackled poorly.”

“It’s a learning experience for the whole team. We will get better. We will go back. Obviously it hurts right now.”

“It’s not the way we designed it. ”

Calvin Johnson who was new receiver in Detroit’s team did a good job but still, was not enough.

“We did make the playoffs this year and that’s a great accomplishment. We have some things to work on and we will. We know what we have to do to make the next step.”

Matthew Stafford added that they did all their best to win but they could not stop The Saints from winning.

“We had to go out and start trading touchdown for touchdown. Give credit to them. It’s going to be tough to stop them from here on and out.”

Sean Peyton, the Saints coach said, “We just focus on winning. We are not focused on yards and records.”
