After so many congratulatory comments to Beyonce and Jay-Z for the birth of their first child, one man seems disappointed about it.
He said he was not given the right treatment for his wife and children because of the powerhouse couple.
The wife also stayed in Lenox Hospital in the Upper East Side of New York, the same as Beyonce.
The man’s name is Neil Cuolon, a contractor in Bed-Stuy, according to The New York Daily News.
He claimed that ‘the stress of his wife delivering two premature girls was tripled by Beyonce’s bodyguards treating Lenox Hill Hospital like an exclusive nightclub.”
Mr. Neil also said that he was banned to seeing his twins on the NICU and his relatives was asked to be booted out on the waiting room to make way for Beyonce and Jay-Z.
“Three times they stopped me from entering or exiting the NICU (Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit) and it happened once on Friday – just because they wanted to use the hallway.”
“I know they spent $1.3 million and I’m just a contractor from Bed-Stuy, but the treatment we received was not okay.”
He added, “My wife is just terribly upset, she had a C-Section. She gave birth to twins. She is sore. Nobody needs this.”
The disappointed new father said that they should have planned everything so that it will not give other patients any inconvenience.
“They should have been more strategic about it. These are children with problems in intensive care and you are just going to take over the hospital like you own it? All I want is an apology. This is the NICU. Nobody cares if you are a celebrity. Nobody is star-gazing. They just want to see their children. ”
A staff from the Hospital also shared that what Mr. Neil said was true.
“Some people were upset. I heard a gentleman say he could not go upstairs to see his baby. ”
Anne Silverman, the hospital’s rep said, “We take patient satisfaction very carefully. This is the first time I’m hearing about it.”
