Minneapolis – Once that Ricky Rubio goes to play on court, the Minnesotta Timberwolves seem to not do good.
They lost to Chicago Bulls last Tuesday night scoring 11-100.
Derrick Rose scored a high score of 31 points and 11 assists into the game.
Ricky led the team by a 20-2 run at the end of second quarter.
But Luol Deng had 21 points, and Kyler Korver also had 13 points to help save the Bulls.
Rubio said, “We come back, but that’s not the way we wanted it to play. We want to play from the beginning, from the first minute and that’s happened a lot of times that we play bad, we are down, and then is we react.”
Timberwolves worked hard to to tie with Chicago on the third quarter but Rose did 4 3-pointers to hold off the Wolves.
Kevin Love said on three-pointers, “He has a lot of poise even at his age. He wants to win very bad. The game is starting to slow down for him.”
Chicago Bulls will play against Washington.
Rose had a left toe injury but he said he will really play this Wednesday.
“We will have to see, tomorrow, I’m not sitting out, I know that I will be playing.”
Tim Thibodeu, Bulls coach said Rose’s injury is fine and he can play for the team.
He said, “He is going to take a lot of hits. He’s got to get through all that stuff. He has shown how tough he is. That’s all part of the game. It’s a tough, physical game. He’s got the ball a majority of time. That’s just the way it is.”
