Daniel Radcliff admits not being close to co-star Rupert GrintYou might think that Harry Potter and his best friend in the movie, Ron are so close in real life.

But apparently, that’s not the case.

Daniel Radcliff admits that he is close with Emma Watson, but don’t hang out with co-star Rupert Grint.

He said, “There is this idea that Emma Watson, Rupert and myself are the best of friends who always hang out together.”

“I’m just going to put it out there – Emma and I text all the time, but Rupert and I never text each other, never see each other.”

The news came as a shock because they were working together for ten years.

Last July, they were seen together on the premiere of the last installment of Harry Potter looking really close.

But Harry said they only speak ‘Hellos’ when they see each other.

“If I see him every six months or so, it’s a friendly, ‘Hello’ , ‘How thing’s with you?’ But that’s about it.”

Harry has a new movie now, after the Harry Potter movies, ‘The Woman in Black.’

He said it is his first grown up role, it is also based on a novel.

“It’s my grown up role.”

The role he will play will be older than himself in real life.

“I’m suppose to be 24 in this. And I’ve got a son.”

He added, “The woman in Black is very different from Harry Potter. But it’s different enough without me having to go all extreme and play a drug dealing rent boy or something where people go, “Oh, OK, he’s trying to shock us now. I was simply after a good role.”

Right now, Daniel’s other co-stars are busy with other projects. Emma had a part in, ‘My Week with Marilyn’ and Rupert Grint starred in a music video for singer Ed Sheeran.
