Heidi Klum just announced her separation to her husband of seven years, singer, Seal.
Now, Seal answered some questions and his feelings towards his divorce on Ellen De Generes Show.
Seal admitted that he was shocked on the decision and that they were both grieving.
Seal said, “I think we were shocked. You go into these things with the greatest intentions when you say, “I do” and you say “Till death do us part. Those vows hold value. They are just not words”
He added and said,”these things happen.”
“The thing that I’m most proud about this great woman who I married – and I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart – is that together she has given me four incredible gifts, four beautiful children.”
Seal only has good things to say and said, “She still, in my opinion is the most wonderful woman in the world.”
The couple also plans to have a discreet and civil divorce settlement.
“I think our priority was to remain civil and do things with dignity.We still very much love each other.”
He also exposed their feelings that the are griving.
“To say that neither of us is grieving would be an out-and-out lie – and don’t mind telling you that. ”
Seal was also seen to still wears his ring.
Seal said that it’s his token of how he feels about Heidi.
“We have eight years. Eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate does not necessarily mean you take off your ring and you are no longer connected to that person.”
“We will be connected in many ways, ’till the rest of our lives.’
“Through our children and also through this tremendous admiration, respect and love that we have with each other.”
While Seal was busy on his singing career, Heidi is also busy herself looking divorce lawyers in Los Angeles.
Some reports were out that Seal’s hard partying took a toll on the famous model.
A source also said, “It was a long time coming.”
One source told the DailyMirror that they have been always the couple that everybody strived to be, but lately it has changed.
Heidi Klum also appeared in the Golden Globes all alone without Seal that made people question if their marriage was in trouble.
