She announced her divorce to her younger then-husband, Ashton Kutcher.

Since the ‘cheating allegations’, Demi looks skinny and frail.

On her LA home, it was reported that Demi collapsed after taking the laughing gas, Nitrous Oxide.

The source said that Demi had seizure-like symptoms after ingesting large amounts of it.

The laughing gas is also called, Whip-it which was used to recharging whipping creams in cans.

TMZ reported that she was with a girl friend while she was inhaling it.

The girl got distressed when she saw Demi having ‘seizure’ and was semi-conscious.

The said gas can give a quick high to the user and is very popular to teenagers because its available in the supermarket.

Another report is that Demi was also taking prescription medication. This is also one of the reason of their decision of the divorce.

A source said it was a sticking point to Ashton and wants Demi to take control of her life.

The source added that her family and friends are worried about her.

“Really, it was over the last year her friends saw a change. She was not sleeping well, did not seem to be eating and looked really gaunt.”

It was last Monday night that Demi was rushed to the hospital.

According to RadarOnline, Demi is being treated with anorexia and other substance abuse.

And what about her estranged husband Ashton? He is in Sao Paulo, Brazil enjoying the concert of Bruno Mars with friends.

The spokesperson of Demi Moore gave a statement to the DailyMailOnline, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.”
