Did Rory McIlry out-Tigered Tiger Woods on Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship?ABU DHABI United Arab Emirates – Last Thursday, Tiger Woods played dominantly but it was not that easy for him.

In the game, he went from garbage cans to over or under trees just to maneuver himself to the goal.

Even if he went to some harrowing trouble, he was still able to emerge better on the game.

He scored 73 into a 68.

It is a good time for Tiger as he hardly break a sweat on his first day. He looks ready on the game as he pull out a wedge to hit a chip shot and it went to the first hole.

In regulation, he hit 17 out of 18 greens.

But when Tiger is in the greens, he seems to have a hard time on it.

Same as on the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, Tiger blamed it on the grainy Bermuda Greens in which he had problems for several years.

Even though he handled challenges, Tiger had 83 worldwide titles with 14 major championships on his name.

Rory shot 67 points and Tiger Woods scored 70 on the HSBC championship.

The reigning US Champion Rory McIlroy also had the same struggles as Tiger.

Rory only hit six fairways and 12 greens in regulation.

He found bunkers five times, but he still managed to score 67 points.

Right now, Tiger has been using his Nike Method Putter and not his trusty Scotty Cameron in which he used regularly.

Rory admitted that he had a hard time on greens same as Tiger.

“To be honest, I have always struggled to read the greens as well. I think there’s quite a bit of grain , but it’s not very apparent. The green does not change color that much or the holes don’t get as damaged as much as they would do in Florida. It’s pretty hard to read the grain.”

Tiger said that he also had a hard time reading greens and he is working on his speed.

After the game, Tiger did not stick around to work on his problems. He went to a corporate meet-and-greet and accepted media inquiries.

But he has an afternoon tee time scheduled on Friday and will practice more time working on the green.
