Recently, he just announced his divorce with the singer, Katy Perry and now reports are out that he is setting his sights to ‘The New Girl’Zooey Deschanel.

The funnyman is said to be really determined to get Zooey. She filed for divorce to her husband musician Ben Gibbard three days before Russel announced his divorce to Katy.

America’s OK! magazine reported that Russel has been sending Zooey funny and flirty texts for a long time to see if they can get together.

The source added that Russel finds her cute and funny, and he sees them having on-and-off screen spark.

An insider close to Zooey said that she is intrigued by Russel because he has a reputation of being a womanizer and does not want to rush to another relationship.

It is also quite clear that Zooey looks like Kate Perry a lot and is always mistaken by Katy’s fans.

In an interview in Allure magazine, Zooey said that she does not mind being compared to Katy because she finds her pretty.
