She was once the golden girl of British Cinema but unrecognisable Emily Lloyd must feel a million miles away from her once glamorous lifestyle.
In her hay day she took Hollywood by storm, earning her place alongside the likes of A list actors Brad Pitt and Robert Redford. Now the fallen star could not be further away from the dazzling life she once lead in LA.
Surviving on benefits and living in Hackney wearing ripped jeans, baggy jumper with rough unkept hair is the very last thing you would expect to see from the Hollywood beauty.
Emily, who is the daughter of British actor Roger Lloyd-Pack, most renowned for his role as Trigger in Only Fools and Horses and Barty Crouch in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, catapulted into fame as attractive saucy teen in 1987′s blockbuster hit ‘Wish You Were Here’.
She was pinned the hottest young Brit around and was not only predicted to make waves on the LA movie scene but was also poised for global stardom.
Unfortunately Emily never got to live out her foretold fortune…
After starring alongside Brad Pitt in 1992 classic film ‘A River Runs Through It’, she was very sadly diagnosed with mild schizophrenia, Tourette’s syndrome, OCD and attention deficit disorder.
Despite nearly two decades of suffering with some of the worst metal illnesses, Emily. now 40, said: “I feel i have grown and i will get back on my feet. I still hope that there is a part out there that will define me once again.”
We hope so Emily!
