Gorgeous Hollywood actor Brad Pitt hasn’t disappointed his army of fans starring onscreen in countless epic movies.

But neither has he let them down by finally coming clean about his marriage to former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston as the star gives a far from action-packed account of his apparent ‘dissatisfied’ wedded bliss to his former wife.

Speaking to US Parade magazine, the heart throb actor revealed that one of the ‘smartest things’ he ever did was to make Angelina Jolie the mother of  his children.

Brad, 47, who is busy promoting his new film Moneyball told Parade:

“I spent the ’90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.

“I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out.

“It started feeling pathetic.’It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself.

“I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.’

Brad Pitt began dating the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston, 41, in the 90s and went on to tie the knot with her in 2000, but the couple split five years later soon after he met and co-starred with stunning Angelina Jolie, 36, on the film Mr and Mrs Smith.

“One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.

“I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much. A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. That’s the trade-off. But I’ll take it all”, added the American film hunk and doting dad-of-six.

No doubt his stinging comments in Parade mag will come as a further blow to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston as she endures the agony of her mother Nancy Dow, 75, suffering a massive stroke at the weekend and remains in a critical condition. The distraught star was accompanied by her boyfriend Justin Theroux as she rushed to the Beverly Hills Hospital to be at her poorly mums bedside. The feuding mother/daughter were estranged for ten years until they reconciled their differences in 2008.
