Tragic Playground Death of 5-year-old Samuel Orola From Surbiton Surrey UK

At approximately 1pm yesterday afternoon little Five-year-old Samuel Orola was knocked unconscious when he apparently lost his footing and fell to the ground from the school playground climbing frame at Tolworth Infant and Nursery School in Surbiton, Surrey, UK.

Police Officers arrived at the scene around 1.10pm following a call from London Ambulance Service. He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

His tragic death is being treated as unexplained.

A touching statement from the parents of the tragic youngster read:

“We will certainly never forget the happy times we shared with him and pray his soul rests is perfect peace. Amen.”

The Headteacher offered her condolences to Samuel Orola’s family on the school’s website:

“It is with the deepest sadness that I have to inform parents and carers that a tragic accident occurred in the playground at lunchtime.

“I know that all our thoughts and sympathy will be with the child’s family.”

“We are working with the police, local authority and the Health and Safety Executive and a full investigation is taking place”, said Headteacher Rachel Nye adding that staff would are available to support children and families in the aftermath of Five-year-old Samuel Orola’s shocking death.
